Ok, first off I have a Pioneer CD deck that has atarted cutting on and off. I pulled it out to check for loose wires. no loose wires. but I did find this harness of wires not connected to anything. It's grey and the wires are really thin, Is this the harness for the stock CD deck? if so, then someone added a ******** coin tray/cup holder that is a piece of crap. I threw it in the trunk when I bought a cubby holder that fits in there. Once again, my question is...is this grey harness with the thin wires for the stock CD deck? Let me know what you think. Thanks, guys and gals.

Aftermarket or OEM?

Ok, I''ve decided to get another system since my Pioneer is puking out. Should I go with a new aftermarket stereo, or go back to the original radio-tape/cd combo? I found a few on E-bay, but someone cut the connectors off inside my car!! My local JY should have some I hope. I know premium systems use the same power connectors as non-premium stereos, but a different speaker one. What other models had premiums systems other than Taurus, Sable, T-bird. I know a few Lincoln models did too. Your help will be appreciated. Thanks Guys and gals.

Ok after further inspection I see how this wacky premium system works, the speaker connector plugs into this harness that goes to the trunk and plugs into the amp, then another harness goes back to the dash. So then that grey harness is NOT for a CD deck, damn!
