I have a 95 ATX and when I'm taking corners at regular driving speeds like 40ish.. I have to hold the wheel with two hands because it will **** back and fourth slightly while I'm turning the corner. Is this the rack? If so how do I know if it has VAPS? Thank you very much any input will be appreciated. If you need more info also you can ask me.

The problem is a rack failure.

Replacement of the rack, a full fluid flush and purge, and an inline filter will usually correct it.

It is virtually guaranteed that you have a VAPS rack in your car. To verify, look for the additional motor mounted to the top of the rack at the firewall.

Welcome aboard.

Check your SFBs. Have someone watch the SF while your turn the steering wheel back & forth with the brakes on. Mine did this before I changed the bushings.
