Hey guys,
Hoping my EPAS/Rack & Pinion doesn't need replaced.
Sounds like the tires are rubbing pretty bad when you turn left or right but they aren't - got it on a lift and confirmed its the R&P making the noise.
I understand it's electronic and needs programming but does anyone have any tips or advice on getting this replaced w/o going to the dealer? Looks expensive!
I just had my turbos rebuilt and a full suspension replacement, so this certainly sucks to have now.
Steering still feels okay so not sure if it needs full replacement but probably.
If I buy the R&P what's the likelihood of finding a shop that can handle the programming if required?
