sputtering with stall on cold starts.

on a 97 ford taurus sho il start it on cold starts and it will sputter and then stall. cant figure out wat it is. idk if a bad cat would make it do that or a bad o2. some ppl are telling me intake gaskets but those are brand new. i got a brand new mass air. also i got a power steering winding noise it sounds like. i changed the fluid and it still there. i also got a cold air intake. some ppl are saying its sucking too much air, idk any info will be helpful.

Sounds like a major vacuum leak. Will it run if you keep the gas pedal down a bit?

ya it will. and after a while itl level out and run fine. engine lights on and it said running lean and catalyst below threshold bank 2.
