Is it possible to replace burned out LEDs in the rear spoiler stop light? I took the light out and it looks to be sealed permanently. Has anyone tried to heat it up and remove the lens?

actually last night i got one pulled apart.

i used a knife blade and slowly worked it in and around the lens.
just wait for light cracking noise which is the glue.

i found out the leds are the 4 pin square leds
the resistor is built into the wire

Maybe SHOSource can work on trying to get an replacement?

I personally would like clear housing with red LEDs. :dribble:

im actually working on that personally.
im not gonna go off and have someone make a clear lens from a mold im simply gonna cut out the lens and insert a clear one and plastic weld it in.

my reason tho is because i wanna make the 3rd brake light function as a brake and reverse light.

and the stock LEDs are bright red already.
