Okay, I posted on this about a month ago. This of course was 1 month after we filled the minimum to "begin tooling".

I call, talked to a nice guy, he says "4-6 weeks" and I repost here saying how nice he was. Then I'm on e-bay and see this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1826402163&r=0&t=0&showTutorial=0&ed=1020816582&indexURL=0&rd=1

Looks like the same to me, minus the fancy lettering. But under $70 bucks? Does anyone know this outfit? Recommend?

I can't believe I've waited almost 2 months with my CC # out there waiting to be charges over $120.00.

Anyone with me?

Lance

Those do look very similar. I didn't think anyone else made indiglow. And they went for $54.99 eek! I might have to cancel my speedhut order and try these.

Did anyone else see that Speedhut was selling the SHO guage panel overlay on e-bay too?

I was one of the winners of that auction. I had got a set from them the week before for my sister's Camry and they are NICE!!! I think they are better made than the SpeedHut version I have in my 95 ATX.

I would recommend them if you are looking at buying a set from them. They respond and ship quickly.

Only drawbacks, if you want to call them that, is that they only come in white and the lettering mentioned in an earlier post.

Yeah, they looked cool. I almost bid on them also. From what I saw they switch from blue to green at night and the redline stays red. Perhaps the next ones I'll bid on. Keep us posted John and let us know how good they look...or better yet, post a pic.

I too won one of those auctions. They looked real nice and you can't beat the price. Even if they aren't as nice as speedhut, for more than half price I can deal with that.

damn im a little ******! im waiting for the speedhut gauges too. the only solace i can find is that mine will be silver and will have a racing stripe. that and speedhut will stand behind their product. who knows what an online auction guy will do. im not knocking whoever bought the cheaper ebay gauges.... just trying to give some comfort to us who bought speedhut gauges. :D

I already have my pre-order in at speedhut. But I think I might have to cancel my order and jump ship to save some $.

I wouldnt hate on the Speedhut guages so soon, I hear they're going to be quite a bit better than the first set they had for the SHO. Plus you can get them in quite a few different colors, whereas the ones on Ebay only come in white.

I installed my Initial K gauges yesterday and it took me a total of twenty minutes. Very nice quality and ease of install ( you need not remove needles!).

I wrote installation instructions like 3 times on other forums... it's really easy, just don't remove the needles..

turn all the needles so they face up, slip the EL panels over the needles and push them down good... put each overlay over each el panel and you should be done...

My tach overlay was binding on the needle so I had to pull the needle up a bit on the shaft.
