when i turn off my HU, about 2 seconds later there's a "pop" sound from the speakers (sounds like just the read but ??) kinda like the sound when you pull a headphone jack out while the music's still playing.. anyone know what could be causing this? i'm pretty sure all the wiring was done correctly? what gives? the sound does not change volume or go away depending on the speaker volume, blaring or 0 its the same volume pop.. pretty soft, but noticeable should i worry?

This is an aftermarket unit? If its from the power turning off before the remote signal is droped, alloweing the power to dissipate threw the speakers. If it is just one speaker though. It might just be a bad speaker.

Does the head unit take a second to turn off??

Mine used to do this- I had a JVC deck w/ stock JBL Amps. The head unit would say "goodbye" and take a second to turn off, and then I'd hear the pop. It's probably just the amps turning off.
