Southern BC get-together in April

Come one, come all!

What: An informal gathering of SHO's and enthusiasts followed by a group drive to a restaurant for some good eats.

When: Gather on Saturday, April 4th at 11:00am

Where: Start at the Colossus Theatre parking lot, Langey ( 200th St and 88th Ave )

I'm open to suggestions for restaurants; I was kind of thinking a Drive In where we could get a good burger...

We can hammer out the details as we go along and I'm suggesting we make it weather permitting. Stay tuned!

Hm, thats my swing day... I may make it out to hang out if the weather is nice, but I'll skip the lunch. I'll need to get back for a nap before work.

The company I work for is shifting financial reporting modes (GAAP to IFRS) at this quarter end and I am forced to work that weekend.


Would have been nice as I've had Bull off the road all winter and he's itchin' to do some driving.

I'll leave the eatery to you Langley folk. I can't stay too late, as I need to go home and nap before I start work (I start at 6pm). If the weather holds out and there is no more snow forcast, I might put on my black wheels and give the car another rinse.

And I promise to leave my ticket book in my bag, unless people are doing stupid things.

If you want to go for quick drive, there is a nice short one along the fraser river and we could go through fort langley, or even eat there.

Put the black wheels with them Falken's on and give them a work out in the parking lot.

If this weekends a go, I'll have to get some temp insurance on my beater SHO as the garage queen SHO is still hibernating.

I could ticket myself, but where would be the fun in that? Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on your view point, the second I see illegal activity, I'm technically on duty.

If its going to snow again, they'll stay in storage. But, thankfully it looks like sun and decent weather for the weekend *knock on wood*, and I'll put the black wheels on. :sun:

The weather is forecast to be nice. I'll be there. Just checking for restaurants/drive-ins in the local area that we can gather on.

I like the drive out River Road idea. Perhaps a drive into Central/South Langley from there to eat.

oh, BTW. I thought we'd leave Colossus around 12:00, 12:30 and drive to the restaurant and arrive about 1:30. Hopefully we'll avoid the lunch rush.

Pretty much the same as yours except a nice drive along Derby Reach first.
