Source for engine parts

I need a bearing for the balance shaft in my engine. Ford no longer carries it. Does anybody know if there is an aftermarket replacement that will work or is there anyone that might have some NOS parts for these engines?

Aftermarket? LOL. That's a funny one. I wonder why they'd run out of balance shafts.

Your best bets is NESHO.com or fleebay.

have fun bro im in need or a 3rd motor now first one cam failed 2nd one spun bearing now im saving for the 3rd

i plain to sell this car once its all back together it will have a new motor and trans, trans was just rebuilt less then 6k ago..

All I need is the bearing - I don't need a balance shaft. The way it looks in the manual, it is just a roller bearing and I was hoping that someone may have found a part that will work in place of the original.

So I'm guessing that if someone wanted to rebuild one of these engines it is now impossible due to lack of parts?

Pull the old bearing (if you haven't already) and take it to a bearing house and have them match it up.

Its a reference to a machine shop that specializes in rebuilding and salvaging bearings. It was a good suggestion.

Or one that just specializes in bearings. Usually an industrial supply specialty place of business.
