why did you choosed the air to air over the water to air intercooler?

Only reazon i ask i because i am still not sure which one to used...:shrug:

the air to air one seems to be more money friendly i think, but how does it compare vs. the water to air? performance wise...

Very dependent on the actual use of the car.

There are pros and cons for both air-air and air-water.

I chose air-air because this car will be much more of a weekend warrior/fun car than a dedicated drag or track car.

My car is also kind of a weekend warrior well actually i use it to commute to work most of the week:dribble:

I can't help it:cry:

anyways i am not really that attractive to all the track or drag events for some reason. On your opinion do you think air to air would be ok on a almost everyday drive car. I do want to upgraded to 15psi pulley soon though! Anybody?!:shrug:

please please please tell me this is true... and you're doing it in tandem with the turbocharger... that would be incredible, supercharger to spool the turbo/ get rid of turbo lag, then turbocharger for the top end. ah if only i was not a college student soon to be in thousands of dollars of medical school-related debt.

Less expensive, easier to plumb, lighter weight. The only reason to use an air/water is for getting a super cool charge, since you can use ice water. But after a pass down the track your ice is melted and the water is the same temp (or warmer) than the ambient air. For a track car (road course) there are no benefits of an air/water. Also, you can spray nitrous on an air/air, which will give you the same benefits as icing your water on an air/water. And one bottle of nitrous will last a LOT longer at the drag strip than a bag of ice. Unless you plan on going to the dragstrip a lot, I would recommend an air/air.

thanks Tim, what about i heard Josh complaining about the air to air blocking the radiator not being good for the car, what do you think about that?
