So anybody try these tires yet?

I have the Pirelli Centurato P7 currently. Still plenty of tread left, but I like how these look. May have to change brands when the time comes. They kind of remind me of the performance tires I had on my 03 Mustang GT before I went to 315's lol.

They would be my choice for everyday all year driving. One of the best all season tires for major snow and ice areas like where i live now.
But I still choose a 4wd truck fer the winter.

If you live in Texas, stay with the P7s.

.
Just curious why you say this. Personal experience, opinion or what? My 2019 GT came with Michelins sports and I haven't had a problem with them.

Is there anywhere in Texas where the weather stays consistently around freezing for the winter? If not, stay with a summer tire, for the best dry/wet/braking/handling performance. Preferably with a treadware below 300, and definitely below 400.

All season tires are "no season" tires. And those, being typical Michelins, have a 640 treadware, insuring that anything resembling reasonable handling or braking will be sacrificed for long life. Typical of all but the very top-of-the-line Pilot Sport Michelins.

I live north of Texas (Oklahoma) and I can't see a reason to run a tire like that. Would be sacrificing summer, fall, spring performance for great snow performance. We get maybe 3-7 days of snow. Did the forth worth event shake you up and make you want more of a winter tire?

The DFW Event was really bad, but that wasn't why I asked. Even though right now I wouldn't mind having them. Ice everywhere this week and into next.

I was just curious as they seem like a good all season alternative to the P7.

I ran all seasons for a little bit, just too much spin on launch. I run P-zeros now.

I have P zeros on my winter rims for the S550. Really not impressed with the traction. I really don't drive it much in the winter as I have the jeep.

My girlfriend dailys the SHO, so it doesn't get abused much anymore lol. Occasionally I steal it back. I just need it to reliable tires that handle the extreme Texas weather.

P-zero or P-zero neros? I have hardly heard anyone complain about traction on P-zeros. The P-Zero Nero is a all season though. I run a 12.57 without meth and don't get so much as a squeak out of them on launch.

They're the P Zero Nero. They came on the wheels. I figured I'd run them and see before I shell out cash for replacing them.

These have the weirdest rubber before cure, it feels oily. Reviews on them have been fantastic and they seem like a solid tire, but they're definitely not a performance tire.
