Hey everybody i got a question. I just got my 1st 2010 sho about a month ( loving the car by the way ) but it has 100,000 miles on it and i have no history on it. Looking to get alittle more power but nervous about a tune due to miles and cant really drop $1,000 on exhaust. This is my dd cant afford it to go down. Any ideas?

Oil change, transmission and PTU flush and fill, new plugs. Then get a tune. It won't hurt anything. Run top-tier gas at all times, 91 or higher.

And you can ask the tuner to make a tune that's on the mild side. I think the throttle response differences are probably enough to make you smile without any extra actual "power" except maybe a small bump.

Get your maintenance up to date before applying a tune.

Mileagewise seems like the SHO was driven a decent amount and should not have major issues. But a Carfax and if possible an OASIS report will help.

At a minimum, change all the fluids, check/clean the intercooler, and have good tires/tread.

Chances are, if you are going to have any mechanical issues, it will happen whether you tune or not. I tuned mine at 108K and am a little over 155K now. They are just way too much fun to drive with a tune to leave it stock.
