Car is a 2012 PP SHO with approx 125,000 miles on it. Lately it has developed a slight vibration under throttle when at highway speeds. Not sure if I should be looking at the wheel bearings or the axles to correct the issue. It does seem to go away when I take my foot off the throttle and let it coast. Thanks for any input

This may not be helpful, but my 11SHO has a slight vibration at idle. Becomes more prominent and can hear the vibration with the AC running. Looking under the car with engine running I notice the harmonic balance/crank pulley with a slight wobble. My other cars do not have that wobble. I have not replaced it yet. The balancers do go bad.

Could be as simple as a wheel weight dislodged...

I am chasing something like it, found a torn CV axle boot and dry joint.
Been planning to replace the CV axle but haven't got to it yet.

If the vibration happens when moving and not while out of gear (revving or holding rpm), Then I would look at suspension, wheels balance, tires, etc instead of the engine's rotating mass.

I get a vibe around 70mph. It only happens once as I'm on the highway. After slowing down and then accelarating back to 70mph the vibe is gone.
I can also hear my timing chain at start-up. Once my car is at operating temp, chatter is gone.
I have an appointment next week to check it out.

I have the same issue. Did you find out what was causing the vibration?

Noticed antifreeze leak two days ago. Water pump is bad. All timing components as well as wp are being replaced at Sunset Ford in South STL county.
New tires and a fresh alignment and hopefully im g2g.
Glad I bought the extended warranty, it helped a lot.
