After letting my SHO sit in the garage, over the weekend, I noticed a short cloud of what appeared to be blue-ish smoke from the rear of the car.It was enough to see it in the rear view mirror. I didn't see it at all, the other three times I started the car during the day. My guess would be valve guides. How big of a job is THAT and do I need to find a special Rotunda tool kit , or a mechanic WITH one, to do it ? How much is a set of guides ?

The valve stem seals are bad on my 91 also. I get some blue smoke on startup sometimes and I get big puffs when I get on it. Shophoenixproject.com has a good writeup with pictures on their website to give you some insight on the job. Right now I'll just keep adding oil as this is a big job.
