ok so i totalled my sho. twisted the subframe, bent the sway bar, and bent the inner tierod, and destroyed the rim. I was driving and the brakes failed and i took it sideways into a curb at like 25. i am just trying to get it so it will get me to work and my girlfriends house and thats about it until i get my new car and finally breathe a sigh of relief and get out of the sho world. Can i actually run this thing without a front sway bar? thanks for all help and suggestions.

Yes you can use it, the sway bar stabilize the car in curves, Just dont go crazy in the curves and you'll be all good.

after you get it together again, take your first few turns VERY slow till you know how the car will react to no front sway bar .... some cars drive worse then others w/o a sway bar

Sure you werent driving like an idiot and hit the curb? You failed to mention what failed in the brake system.

I think I see another case of blame the SHO here.

The car will get twitchy with a 20mm sway up front so be careful without one.

Yeah, I'd say that was a pretty tactless comment.

One thing to keep in mind is that you can make up for the lack of front bar by desizing or removing the rear bar (or just disconnecting the connecting links). Yeah, the car is going to roll like crazy but it will make it safer if the car oversteers a lot without a front bar.
