I have read up on the differance between the sho/ slo lower control arms, it seems to boil down to two differances, type of rubber in the bushing and arm forging mass.

I have found a big differance in price between the two, some places almost $40 per side.

I want to replace the lower arms in my shogun projest ( sho in the back seat) and of course want to replace the ball joints, hence the arms and bushing come along for the ride.

My question is over all strength of the smaller arm. Has anyone had any problem with the lighter arm? With the Festiva lighter weight I would think there would be less load on the arm anyway. I dont plan of racing the thing, just a nice daily driver.

The fatter arms were only on the early SHOs. As far as I can tell after that (essentially GenII or perhaps somewhat before) the SHO and SLO LCAs are the same.
