I’m wondering if the 3.0 duratec share the same starter as the 3.4

Advance auto shows the same new bosch unit part number for both. It's been wrong before but there is no price difference I can find.

I'm inclinde to agree they are the same. Its Its a difference of how the alternator mounts, and these share the same housing as any Tauri with the AX4N. The Duratec did commonly have this mated up to it.

It is not compatible with the AX4S, which was more common on the OHV 3.0L versions.
