New to this web forum. I'am in the process of rebuilding a 1993 3.2 sho motor. Need to find places to get parts at a reasonable price (if there is such a thing). Motor was really bad I will need to fix the front cam bearing. Was planning on reboring the bearing surface, and making a bearing insert. The parts I'am having trouble finding are Rings, Head Gaskets. Well Thanks if aneone can help.

For the cost of rebuilding a 3.2 it would be cheaper to get a low milliage junk yard one. It is not a 5.0, Just the parts you listed would buy a good used motor.

Why do you think you need a new head gasket, rings, and other parts? Head gaskets do not tend to go on this engine.

They didn't "Go". We took the head off, along with every other piece on the motor. Its being totally rebuilt. Thats why we need gaskets. Thanks for the help though.

ok, let me restate the question. What happened to cause the 3.2L to need to be rebuilt?

As for part sources, check out the site sponsors.

Here is FPN list of parts:

Plus many others. What we are saying it is cheaper and easier is to get a junk yard low milliage engine to avoid the cost and time on the engine.

I believe that SHO Nut may also carry the head gaskets. FPN may as well, but I've never checked with Torrie on those parts. For the seals check here.

Good luck with your rebuild! thumb
