There is another tab on the other side, pry it from there. That’s what I did... but to be honest I broke mine.

Ohhh, I was prying the ever living shit out of it.

The section on the other side that looks like tab would be there is solid plastic. Nothing really pry against.

Seeing that its approximately Beer:30, I'll get back after it tomorrow with a heat gun and try again.

Does anyone else have a problem with adjusting the SHO emblem both of mine are really not adjusting. My drivers side has to go horizontal and passenger side has to go vertical when you turn the screw it runs out of room and will not adjust any more feeling aggravated. I would think these would be made to adjust 360' but they do not... Tried everything any suggestions?

One of the screws on mine broke so they don’t adjust... getting a replacement soon...

The lights are labeled left for driver and right for passenger. Others were having issues getting them adjusted until they made sure they were in the correct side.

One was marked R put on the right side not enough adjustment to turn only turned maybe 20' then stopped turning and that screw broke off. The one that was not marked put on the left side and adjustment goes about 45' not enough to make it straight the SHO is crooked on the ground can not get it straight. Thought i would have a problem taking the puddle lights out got both out no problem. hmm??

To everyone that purchased the SHO puddle lights. I worked through ICBM Performance on eBay which is the same company that makes the Ford symbol projector lights. If you don’t like the product you received or are having a problem please contact them. I was not involved in making them or have any financial gain with these.

There have been 5 people I know of that have had an issue myself included(the adjuster screw on the passenger side broke). I will be more than happy to contact them as well if you are having a problem. Contact me and send me your eBay username.

From the small few that have had an issue, from what I understand, ICBM has stated they will replacement when they get more in stock this week.

***Updated***: I received an email back from the company ICBM Performance. They told me to let everyone know they are really sorry for the defective sets that were sent out and PROMISE replace them when they get the second batch this week. They think because they pushed their supplier to get the first batch out ASAP, it caused some issues.

So at this point, just make sure if you did receive a bad set, to let them know.

I didn't buy these but did replace my stock puddle lights with the bright CREE LED version with no logo. They are a "B" to pry out the stock ones! I kind of screwed up my passenger side because I pried too hard and started to ruin the plastic on the mirror housing. It's not bad and you can't see it, but I'm so obsessive that just knowing that some of the plastic next to the light socket was blemished makes me mad. Just take your time and keep going at it from different angles and try to push in against the light-housing while prying, etc.

I was told yes. Original run was supposed to be 50 and I was number 50. They only got 49 in their shipment from the manufacturer and had another shipped directly to me from China so I didn't have to wait for them to get the full shipment and then send out to me.

I have to say I am a little concerned about the failure rate but ICBM has had good communication and seems to be taking care of everyone so far.

This clip is what holds everyone up. If you put the mirror full tilt up you can access it easily.
Unclip the front first then push this in and it basically falls out.

As I feel somewhat responsible for those that received DOA parts I was in contact shortly after the first couple bad sets were sent out.

In short...

They do have a good reputation and very minimal issues as far as eBay reviews are concerned. 99.1% satisfaction with over 1400+ units sold. I don’t just ask any old seller to make these....

They told me that they really pushed their supplier hard for the first batch which they think caused a slip in QC to full fill the order quickly. They have said they will take care of anyone with an issue or are unhappy. They offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee which they so far have made good on.

The second batch is taking a bit a longer for above mentioned reason. They are going to contact me with the updated listing link for purchase.

Nobody is blaming you at all, just to be clear. It takes fortitude to make buys like this happen, and I am immensely appreciative of your efforts, and those of people like you who make customization of our cars possible. There are always going to be "Ah F**k" moments, LOL.

Dont know if anyone else is experiencing this, but when I turn the SHO light emblem to read vertically, the end is cut off on the drivers side only.

Agreed, thanks for doing all this leg work! Reason why I never by first year new vehicle model; need to work kinks out. Definitely a great future upgrade. Thanks again SBD!
