Hi All - New member here,

I have a 2015 SHO with 99,000 miles on it and recently heavy smoke will pour out of both exhaust pipes upon startup of the car. This happens for usually the first 5-10 minutes and then will stop, but it happens every time the car starts even if the car is shut off for just five minutes. This is not normal condensation. Smoke has a burnt oil smell/burnt rubber smell. Additionally the car has poor acceleration, but will hold speed just fine. The acceleration is especially bad at higher speeds, say going from 50-80, and it does not have that feel that I am used to in my sho.

Left/Front turbo completely blew its seals and sent oil in to the exhaust system and other places it shouldn't be about 4,000 miles ago. Turbo was replaced. I was running a Livernois 93 octane tune for a while before the turbo was replaced, car is stock now other than Corsa Exhaust, and Livernois Cold air intake.

Any idea what the possible culprit could be?

I would check the plugs for oil.

Also pull the intake tube off the throttle body and the intercooler. Jack the driver side up and use your oil dip stick to see if you have standing oil in your intercooler. If you do, then that is a problem.

I would also suspect you have another blown turbo.

Also by chance, do you know what version LMS tune you have?

I feel like I'm dealing with the same issue. Cloud of white smoke upon starting the car. it goes away after I pull away and will stay away even after stopping and idling for 10 or 15 minutes. Problem seems to go away after the car warms up. That's a new problem as of the last week after it got cold here. I've had a problem the last two winters with a squealing sound while driving and letting off the gas before the car has reached operating temps. That only happens if the temp is below 70 degrees AND the car is cold. With the smoke, I'm assuming the smoke would be a constant if there were a leak somewhere?

Update on my issue, after smoking on startup for about a 2 weeks, it started smoking heavily any time any acceleration was given, and turbo completely blew up about a day later. Burned about 3 quarts of oil on the drive home, took the intake off and there was a significant amount of oil in the air intakes piping. Took it into the shop the next morning and they said that the spindle on my rear turbo was severely damaged, and the turbo needed replaced. They replaced rear turbo and the car seems to be good to go for the time being (cost me $1800 to replace the rear turbo, which I know is a ripoff but I had no choice due to time constraints and not being home with all my tools to replace it myself).

On a another note, how important is the belly pan on this car? I've had mine off for quite some time due to the fact that 3 of the 4 fasteners were broken and would not hold. The main reason I have not replaced this is due to the fact that I have had a hard time finding a replacement, so if someone can point me in the direction of a OEM/ or factory level replacement it would be appreciated.
