SHO Convention Golf

It's that time of the year again!!

I have been in contact with the Renaissance Park Golf Course, which is basically across the street from the Host Hotel:

I am looking at Monday July 18th in the 8-9 AM timeframe.

And, as an added bonus (!!), since a bunch of folks are headed out Tuesday afternoon to stay at VIR, I was looking at golfing again on Tuesday around 3 PM. I figure that I would golf, have an easy night, hit the rack early, then drive up to VIR in the morning.

I would highly appreciate getting a rough count of interested golfers for both Monday and Tuesday.

That's a consideration, if something is relatively close.

And cheap is good (!!) for our bunch. Renaissance Park is across the street from the hotel, and $40. Haven't gotten back to the Pro Shop yet.

The Golf Course is called Quail Hollow. Maybe some of you have heard of it.

I got the list from Ken of the folks who indicated an interest on their Registration form. Other than Brian Lively, who mentioned golf on Tuesday, I added the other folks from Ken's list to Monday.

If any of you wanted the other day (or both days), lemme know.

Tee Time Update

Got the Tee times for Renaissance Park for Monday 7/18.

7:40 & 7:50 AM

Next slots with two tee times together were near 10AM. Place is just around the corner from the Hotel.

Tuesday afternoon, for anyone interested is TBD, depending on interest. Considering about 3PM. Guy said that should be fine, as the leagues start after 5 PM.

I will update the flyer, but I won't get it out for a few days, since the internet at the hotel here is still dead.
