Fred, and all:

Thanks! :) :) :)

As it happens, I would have been one place out of the trophies (they trophy 1/3 of the field, this was 5th out of 16) but another driver ahead of me didn't know the rules and was disqualified. His bad, my gain; I'll take it I guess!

Just this week got the coilover kit from GC in. As may have been noted elsewhere we're working on getting a real adjustable top connection for it, though it seemed to function adequately. Just a word of advice, it's not recommended to put in an entirely new suspension and then go to a National event - it does NOT make things any easier. I do think it improved grip somewhat. I put in basically Gary M's recommendation for setup:
500 #/in front, 350 rear; removed front bar, changed rear down to 23mm (stocker on my '92). However Ground Control does not offer the same spring lengths, they give you 7 front 6 rear. Should not be an issue unless it bottoms out.... Though this rig does not have the helper springs, so it will be interesting adjusting them and making sure it all lines back up, springs in perches. I have about 2-3/4 degrees negative on the fronts. Still hoping to get a full alignment and corner weighting done.

Oh, as far as a pic, well, it rained Saturday so the car is pretty messy, you can see where the magnetic numbers and decals were, those are the cleaner spots! I didn't spring for a pic taken at the event, so there's a slightly older picture now on my car page at
