OK, here's the deal. The shifter cable (under hood) near the end that is attached to the top of the tranny at the lever, is broken at the plastic part that fits through the bracket. The shifter stick is not making gear changes. I have been manually moving lever from under hood. Has anyone had this to happen or know how it was fixed. Right now the only thing to do i know of is to buy the whole shifter cable and replace. Just called AZ and Advance and was told they don't carry that part any lopnger. Also not to sure that the stickey's and replacement guides on this site for the cable is 3.2 atx floor shift specific. There are no torx screws to be removed under dash if i am correct. Any and all help is needed and appreciated. Thank You!

the hard part of replacing that cable is that there is a cable anchor that holds it to the floor pan that is located under the heater box. iirc, you have to remove the heater air distribution box to get at the fastener to take it off.
