Shifter bushings

is there somewhere to get the bushings that go from the shifter to trans?

Are you talking about the ball and socket? SHONUT has them.

if the shifter bushings were bad, what would it cause the car to do wrong? Im a NEWBIE here. Thanks!

FYI shonut only has the socket, and yes if that is worn out it will be hard to shift. mine has been extemley worn since i got it and it was really hard to find gears at first, i'm used to it now but when i drive a new car thats a manual its a night and day difference.
