Is it neccessary to replace the O-ring on the short shift shaft? I am in the process of reassembling an MTX and couldn't find that seal anywhere.

I called Autozone and they didn't have it except for the one on the long shaft where the rod/cable shifter goes.

But I went to my local Lowe's and found a box of 10 O-rings the same size in the plumbing department for 2 bucks!:thumb:
