Have a few questions:
1- How hard is it to install a shift kit into an ATX?
2-Can it be done swapping a used trans that works well or does it have to be done right when the trans is rebuilt.
3-The parts car I'm looking at buying to swap the trans out of MIGHT have had a shift kit installed when the trans was redone 30k ago. Is there an easy way to tell or am I gonna have to pull the pan off and take a look(if that's the case I probably won't bother).
Just wondering since I'm probably going to go pick up that parts car, I just did my 60k about 20k ago and I want this car to last well past the next 60k without having to worry about engine/trans issues. I did a search and nothing really that super helpful came up.
Oh, also, I hear superior shift kits are better than transgo but I can't seem to find a vendor for them. Anyone know?
