Is there any plausible way to make the secondaries kick in below 4k ?

A chip... You don't want them to open earlier than 3800-3850....

My Hypertech opens them at 3600. Not sure if it's faster but it sounds pretty cool. It flipped Denny and Jim out when I took them for a ride. And if you stay on it hard enough you can really suck down the fuel and carry them wide open till 5th.

3600 is WAY too early... You're missing out on some low end torque.
