if the greys are like the T-bird greys, you have to be real close to even notice, and one is just silghtly darker than the other.

Once saw a full seat swap from a gen 3--fronts and rears. My memory says Al Fitz, but I don't trust that it's correct. The car was a white gen 1 with mocha interior. Sorry but I just can't find pics. From what I recall, the width was not very far off in the rear.

If I can find pics, I will post the links.

Don't know about a Gen I, but I did remember saving a green Gen II MTX into my HD for future uses like this:

IIRC the 2nd to last picture with the black brackets was used to custom fit the rear seats.

What did you have to do to get the backseats in or do the fit without modification. And what about the front?

If you read my post I didn't do it just pictures I saved on my HD from a older post on the seats, I believe even the track/connectors worked with the Gen III seats just the rear seats needed custom bracket as I showed the picture of.

I have a Gen I with Gen III seats. Best thing i ever did. The fronts drop in perfect. The elec plug has to be cut from the old seat and spliced to the new. The rear upper portion, takes some work. Like with the pic's of the GenII above, but its worth it in the end. The seats are more comfortable, and you don't have those damn bolsters poking you in the back. I'm a large person. The GenIII's are wider at the top, so they hold you at the shoulders, not at your armpits. The only thing you might not like is that if your over 6', the head rest is strickly for decoration.
