OK well here's a pic of what I have... 1076035113164 schroth harness
3 point harnesses with the inertia switch. Anyone have any expierience mounting these in an SHO? Where should I mount the retractable belt, the c-pillar? Should I do away with the rear shoulder straps and strictly devise a lap only belt for up to 2 rear occupants? I want to install this right and schroths instructions are contradicting and overall a pain in the butt to work with. This will be used with stock SHO gen 2 seats and I'm trying to incorporate an unmodified rear decklid. I like the fact that I can use these while I'm driving all the time, but do not want to make them stick out like a sore thumb. Thanks in advance, please help. thumb

Adam, I've only done the Schroth 4-points, but I'll tell you this - I've since learned that the harness needs to be less than 18(?) degrees below horizontal, otherwise in a crash you run the risk of compressing & snapping your neck / back.

My 4-points are mounted at the rear seat belt points, per the directions, but that's obviously greater than the 18(?) deg. figure mentioned.

My feeling would be, on the rear decklid for the 3-point - as straight back / horizontal with the top of the seat back (less the headrest) as possible.

Good luck!

All the OEM seatbelt hardpoints are compromised in strength if the recoil brackets are not fastened as OEM intented.
