Sarc strut removal

Hey everyone, im currently in the process of removing my sarc struts and oem springs. I was wondering if anyone could just run me through the steps quick. I already removed the sway bar links and rear seat and shelf so i could get to the top of the strut. I was looking and a little confused how to remove the sensor, and was wondering what can stay and what needs to be removed? Thanks! :thankyou:

follow the sensor wire till you get to the plug and unplug em. i found the easiest way to pull the struts is to leave the nuts inside alone and beat the knuckle off (heh) the strut with a combination of penetrating oil, a large hammer and kinetic force. then once the strut's free from the knucklezs take off them three nuts up top and yank 'er out.

Take the 24mm nut off the trailing rod and pull out the rear bushing, this will help the knuckle drop down far enough. spray the **** out of the pinch bolt, if it fights you get a torch and heat the knuckle. If she breaks off you'll regret it.

yea i sprayed the shit out of it... and she still broke. I had to take it to the dealer... i have very limited tools and my friend whos a ford tech said i was f***ed =/ either way there in now!
