how is your car not one big pile of rust? How do you keep the salt from eating at it?

bring it home and spend hours with a water hose spraying the shit out of it. I also put a sprinkler nozzle on the hose than drive the car over it and leave it to spray.

I still always miss a chunk of salt and it is emparrassing as **** when one drops on the track the next year

In the class I'm oin now I have to stay with the stock body panels, I'm talking to the tech people about pulling my side mirriors:woohoo: but right now I have to keep them.

I know the brackets are heavy I've just not though about pulling them yet. I'm pretty light as it is. Racing on the salt flats is one of the only places in the world where you add wieght to go faster. It helps you with traction on the loose surface.

well they are stock for 92-95 sho's :angelnot: and its the same chassie... rules are rules.

edit: I have never had them out but I bet the rear supports are justa s heavy as the front if you pull them all you might save 80lbs or so.
