Anyone install Russell SS hoses on Cobra Calipers recently? Does the front driver side fitting seat correctly or does it have to be modified to fit? Thanks.

Those are the worst lines for the cobras. I had to modify the bracket in the fender well to make them long enough.

I got the stock lines to fit by grinding on the brake fitting a little worked great. The stainless lines should fit.

The Earl's lines worked better for me. I have also seen people use the factory rubber lines with cobras as well.

When I put the gen 3 subframe in my car, I wasn't happy with how much the stock lines had to stretch. I had some -3AN adapters from some old stainless lines, then got -3AN braided lines and 10mm banjo fittings from Summit and made my own. Cost about $80 though.

That's not a bad idea.

Yeah when I had my old GenI --long ago I put on Earl's while installing the Cobra 13" kit. Never actually saw the stock fitment issue until this time. I asked about Russell because the lines looked thicker and people had rubbing issues with the Earl's lines back in the day.

stock lines on my cobra equipped car. If you are looking at stainless lines to firm up your pedal just do the cobra's and save your money on the lines. That is my opinion at least. I have had a ton of different brake combos on SHOs and bang for buck keep your stock lines. You would be amazed at what a proper caliper will do to firm the pedal.
