The results of my wiggle test, now that I have a chance to assess my steering/handling issue.
Passenger side:
-12oclock/6oclock-tight as a drum.
-3oclock/9oclock-lots of slop.
-1:30/7:30-lots of slop.
-4:30/10:30-lots of slop.
*all time locations exhibiting lots of movement seemed to be centered at the knuckle and not through the tie rods, though the tie rods do move grudgingly when I really give it some force(tie rods new).
Driver side:
all tight as a drum though the same movement of tie rods as the drivers side.

To summarize: basically the car has an intermittent vibration at highway speeds and it "dives" one side to the other (steering is extremely loose)

Given that the tierods are new, is there a high probability that a bad wheel bearing is the culprit, and is responsible for all of these maladies?

(this is a more concise version of my other post which was rambling and unclear:bonk: )
Thanks!

We're both the inner and outer tie rods replaced?
I've had a bad inner before that caused the same problem. Drove me nuts!

turns out this was the combined fault of a loose lca pinch bolt and a bad wheel bearing. With both replaced the car feels much better.
