I think I have some pics, let me see what I can find. I'll email it to you if I still have them.

**on a side note, I do plan in making a help section on shoracing...if anybody has one already done with pics please email it to me**

Just crawl under there and go at it...

With as many times you keep asking this question, you could have done it already.

psssssssh. yeah, right.
I guess I may have to go in blindfolded...
To remove old cable:
remove retaining clip at caliper.
What about the other end... how do you get it disconnected?

Uhh lets see here.... I just replaced both e brake cables on my 91.....
* Disconnect from the spring thingie on the caliper
* Remove the C-clip
* Push out of caliper(might have to tap it real good with a screwdriver and hammer to break it loose)
* Cut/remove zipties or whatever are holding it to your control arms
* Might have to disconnect a bracket in the center of the car(some do, some don't)
* If it has a big bushing where it passes in from of the left wheel(don't remember which cable does), pop that bushing out(hard part :)
* where it connects to the front cable it's either going to have 2 nuts on the stud connecting it to the main cable, in which case, remove the nuts.
* If it connects directly to the front cable, well that thingie is a little fun, with a little luck I was able to get a screwdriver in there and spread the connector that squeezes around it, then you slide the cable toward the front of the car and it'll pop out of the connector.
* The actual hard part: there's probably a piece of metal that pops into place where it passes through the underbody, and the thing has 'arm'? that stick out from the cable and stop it from passing back through the hole. I took the time to bend these on by one back in so I didn't destroy it(what a pain), but your new cable has a new one on it, so just bend em back and they'll snap off.

I know it's vague, but it was many months ago, and I don't have pics. Good luck

If it's just the two nuts, remove the nuts and it's loose.

* The actual hard part: there's probably a piece of metal that pops into place where it passes through the underbody, and the thing expanded when it was installed throught the hole. You have to either break off or bend in the petals that expanded, then it'll pop through freely. It's not easy to get to, or even to see, and is a good test in patience.

tool
Oh yeah, from there it should be all loose and you can remove it from the car and throw it away(or hang it, put some oil at the top every day or two and let it soak down through, you'll have a good cable again)
