Replaced Valve Cover Gaskets... Got questions...

Ok so I replaced my valve cover gaskets and everythings fine! Tomorrow she goes to get her new CPS sensor. She seems to start much better now.. The spark o-rings were so bad that they hardend into plastic. But I had a question on a coolant hose I have to replace, the KM-4622, which is located on the thermostat housing. Its a fat hose that is no more than 2 inches long and links the thermostat housing to the heater core outlet housing. I was wondering which housing is easier to remove to replace this hose out. Is it easier to take the thermostat housing out or the other housing assembly? For those who have replaced this hose are the gaskets that seal the housings reusable?
