Well I am trying to strip the sho down to the metal in preparation for running various nitrous lines and relocating the battery. I have all the seats removed with no problem. BUT then came the center console. I removed all the allen heads below the cup holder, and inside the storage area, and removed the phillips heads screws and tried to tug on the center console. YIKES! still really snug in there. WHERE are the bolts/screws that I am missing? Are there bolts and stuff under the car that I have to get under the car to remove? Help I need to get this done by tomorrow afternoon....

I know it`s not what you want to do,but it`s not necessary to run the lines thru the car. It`s actually more recomended to run underneath. If you develop a leak, you don`t want it leaking into the cabin. Also,at 1000+psi,you don`t want to rupture a line under your leg either.I ran mine along the brake lines.

There are also two bolts above the cassette-holder thing, and 1-2 (I can't remember at the moment) below the upper console. Once you have the screws out of the upper console (where the shifter and the cup holder are), pull it straight up and out (there are a couple of clips holding it into the lower console), then you'll be able to access the remainder of the bolts and then remove the lower console.

Okay,
So I remove all the boltws in the center console above the casette holder? Will that break anything loose? I already have ALL the allen heads and screws already removed under the cup holder and in the CD storage and center area.....I will try tomorrow.....

Oh and Jeremy, I have a lot of more lines to run in the car and I want to shampoo the carpet COMPLETELY so that is why I am stripping it..thanks for the tip tho....I will run the NOS lines under the car after all....also I am installing the nitrous switch right between the center console and the drivers seat to hide it..also the switch for the mafterburner to go from non-nitrous program to nitrous program..

WHEW! Got it! Found out the center console comes out in 2 parts, and you have to remove half of it in order to get at the other allen head bolts. Everything is down to the metal now...scary looking... eek!
