I bought my '11 SHO in August, and now that it's getting colder I want to use the remote start which doesn't seem to work.
When I push the fob, the light flash and the horn chirps twice.
The manual says that means the brake is being pressed or one of the doors are open. Neither is the case, and the car won't start.
Has anyone else noticed this, or anything I can check before having the dealer look at it.

Thanks

I know I have to hit the door lock button twice and then the remote start button twice to start mine as per the owners manual. I have a 2013 but I think it would be the same for you as well.

2010-2012 is different than 2013+. Totally different remote start systems. I am assuming you have an OEM remote start? The instructions I have say brake being pressed or hood open. I would check the hood switch to make sure it is working properly.

sounds like you have a bad switch on one of the doors, such that the computer thinks one of the doors is open.
