Remote Keyless entry

i bought by SHO from a private party this past summer, it has a keypad on the door, but i did not get a remote from him. Just wondering if anyone knows how to tell if it had one. i've looked at the module in the truck and it has this long # on it, when i compare that # to those of the remotes for sale on ebay they dont match. im assuming they are supposed to but i could be wrong? anyone have a 1993 SHO with a remote mind informing me of the # on their module and remote? for comparison.

Look for an FCC ID# on the RKE box (behind the back seat in the trunck.

Email one (or more) of the long-time e-Bay sellers of remote fobs and ask them if it's compatible. Several that I have dealt with were happy to provide the info in the hopes of getting the sale.
