My wife has a 96 red sho. We bought it used, all the chrome, key locks, oval edges. etc. were gold. She wants gold wheels, I suggested painted body color, red wheels. What does everyone else think would look better. Neither of us likes silver chrome on her car.

Ugh...if not silver or chrome then choose a color like gunmetal or black. Yeah, black! That would look sweet. TR with black wheels. Yummy. :dribble: Red or gold wheels would not look good at all, IMHO.

I agree....red or gold rims would not be a very good match for your sho. I honestly would go for the chromies......but I also think that black would look very niiiiice too :dribble:

What about an old style "BBS" type wheel where the center could be a matching red, or a contasting gold or black and the outside portion of the wheel be a thin chrome or aluminum ring? I think the style I am trying to describe is called "bead lace", you know the kind that could be found on a '90-something Bonneville. The gold accents though, ummmmmm I dunno, all I can say is too each his own.

After careful consideration and of course consultation with my wife, she's decided to get black wheels. I thought gold might be too gaudy.

Good choice. :thumb: Got a link to a pic of the rims? Or are you just going to paint the stockers? Still want a pic either way. :dribble:

Don't hold your breath on pictures, they're going to be a Christmas present from me to her. 99% chance I will try to find different wheels. I'm putting a sticky note on computer to remind me to e-mail pics, if you have any links to sites with cool black wheels I would welcome help, thanks again.
