I was under my car doing the rear brakes when I noticed the rear sway bar was not connected; it was just hanging there. It looks as if the rubber endlinks have rotted and just fell off somewhere.

What endlinks do you suggest and is there anyway to replace that whole long part that has the endlinks on it?

If you have a local O'Reilly's, get their store brand, Autodrive, which is the MOOG unit in a different box. Price is much cheaper.

The MOOG units you speak of, are they just the endlinks or can I order the whole unit? If so, what is the name of the whole unit?

i purchased end links from Ford. paid ~$25 for the pair, and they include everything you need, ie-links, washers, nuts, blue bushings.

also, a tip for when you are putting bushings on...dont crank them down to where theyre smushed out. youll be defeating the purpose of the bushings. just tighten the nut until it just starts to compress the bushings.

I replaced my endlinks not too long ago for the same reason. the link itself rusted through on mine. I replaced them with the autodrive parts from O'Reillys.

I found the Autodrive parts use a spacer to seperate the top bushings from the bottom and thought this was a good setup because the spacer will help protect the endlink itself from debris etc allowing to rust again.

And I did compare the MOOG and the autodrive while at the parts store.... It's the exact same parts in a different box. The extra money for the MOOG is just for the name.
