I have a 94 SHO ATX production date 2/94. I have rear struts from my 95 SHO ATX that I want to install. I checked with a few auto parts stores and they all say that they are different because my 94 was built early in 1994. Will the struts from my 95 fit on my 94 without any problems or should I just buy the correct ones. I also want to use the strut mounts from my 95 too but I compared those with the factory ones and they look the same.

Thanks for the super fast response I am going to put them in right now. I already had the 94 apart and this was all I was waiting for.

The only diference is long tube struts came with the early models, short tubes for later ones; No idea why they went to the short ones, as I would rather have the longer travel. Check the strut mount holes to make sure they aren't opened up at all, or you'll need to replace them before long.
