Sounds like bad knews to me myfriend. Welcome to the forum! Not sure about the sleeves...

My advice would be to get another 3.0 SHO engine...you can get one on e-bay, or sometimes on this forum from anywhere from 150-600 bucks. Or if you are inclined enough, get your self a 3.2 and keep your 3.0 cams and you'll have a 3.2 MTX(which I personally would love!) Good luck w/either option!

BTW- If it is black and you decide to part it out, I could REALLY use a driver side fender! At the same time, I hope you don't have to part it out. Is it a SHO Plus?

I believe that there may be a repair sleeve. I recall seeing one for the front main oil seal at NAPA.

Are you changing the carrier gasket also? I changed the rear main when I had the tranny out and did not change this. Still had the leak. It's Ford Part #E9DZ-6C335-A.
