Hello everyone.
I am trying to remember an old thread that said the rear "inner liner" for the SHO is the same as a Taurus SLO it is just the cover that is different. Can someone verify this please?
You might have noticed that I don't refer to this part as a "crash bar". I can't bring myself to refer to a brittle plastic piece as a crash bar. lol. Mine has been tapped and bumped so many times over the years that most of the pieces of this "crash bar" I have in a box. lmao.
I don't know what is holding the rear bumper up but the cover is still intact and in good shape.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks and Best To All.

On a Gen 2, if you pull off the rear outer SHO bumper, a standard Taurus bumper is underneath (but also has the standard mounting to the body). I don't have a Gen 1, so someone else will need to confirm if its the same or not.

The front and rear bumpers on the SHO are covers over the standard bumpers that have been trimmed to fit and minus the rubber trim. For the Gen1 front bumper you need to find an LX front bumper that has the turn light cutouts. As far as the rears go I don't believe that there is anything specific to look for. They do need to be trimmed to fit under the covers.

Thanks to you both. Your response gives me the confidence to replace the inner liner(s) before it is too late.
Thanks to you Chad, I had no idea that the front LX crash bar was similar.

My front was broken when i bought it. Ended up making one from metal tubing that is much stronger and roughly the same weight as the junk plastic ones. SHO-FAB.
