I'm replacing rear calipers/pads/brake hoses on my 92. right rear froze up in traffic. rotor was glowing orange.caliper freed up when cooled down but rotor was destoyed. I removed caliper, boot on caliper was destroyed. does the new caliper come with the emergency brake attachments? how do I remove cable? my E brake only locked the left tire. how do I adjust E brake cable. I ony can press down about 4 clicks and that's it. with E brake off, the tires have no drag. I think I have to loosen E brake cable so that I can pull cable from caliper. this is first time I ever did rear calipers.

Replace calipers...

When I did mine, I only got the spring and stuff on one caliper I bought, the other side did not have any... I would suggest not throwing any thing away until you have the new calipers.

Also the cable comes off by compressing the spring with some thing like channel locks, then use another pair to pull the end of the cable out.

I have no idea why the one side E brake does not work except the caliper is just simply bad I guess? I have no idea.

Check the e-brake cables.

Your new caliper should come with the entire ebrake setup (incl. spring). Whether you get the caliper bracket, slider pins & pads will depend on if you buy loaded or unloaded.

I found the adjustment. my cable that goes from adjustment to right brake is frozen. even with cable disconnected, I can't move it. can you still get E brake cables?
