Okay so I picked up a new rubber hose that attaches to the caliper. Is this the only rubber hose on the brake line, just wondering if i got the right piece..? Also, can I not have the car on a lift while bleeding the brakes?

brakes

also If you haven't figured it out, my rear driver side line doesn't have any brake fluid coming out when i bleed, but I bled it when the car was on a lift and when this side was jacked up. but i still think this side doesnt have fluid coming out because the rotor was very rusted out and there were no brake pads on this side when i bought the car.

You need to make sure the left rear (driver's rear) wheel as weight on it or your rear brakes will not get much for fluid. If you try it again with that wheel jacked up so there is weight on it and you dont get any fluid out then you may have a bad proportion valve.

if there was no pads on that side then you have a bad caliper and need a new one. just to be on the safe side I would also replace the other caliper. If you have already got new pads then get non-loaded calipers.
