Does anybody know of any ramps that will work with a Gen 2? Is a jack my only option? I tried a set and the only way the car was going up the ramp was if I took off the bumper first. Terrible TERRIBLE approach angle.

Put some 2x4s on the ground in front of the ramps. Ride up on the 2x4s then up on to the ramps.

Some ramps come equipped with holes to mount a "pre-ramp" that is a flat section that attaches to the upward slope at about the mid point. That puts you that much more up in the air so that your front cladding does not take a beating.

I have absolutely no problem using ramps on my car, front and rear. However, my car isn't lowered so that could be the reason.

When the price on this comes down in the future, or when Harbor Freight sells it for half this price, that's what I want.

If you are willing to shell 1k$ in a lift , that one would be the last model I would purchase.

For the same price , used , you can get a nice 2 post lift , which frees the under carriage.

The only way why I would buy this would be that my garage ceilling is real low , and/or the cement floor is too thin to carry all the weight of the 2 posts (when you lift a car)

I paid my 2 post lift 1200$ , and it was almost new. And its not a Ebay crap either , its a Texas Lift.

Local ads is where its at.
