I pulled this from a junk yard car without a motor/trans...are these ends complete or is it missing something?

Mine doesn't have that rusty ugly part, and mine was factory installed...

Dr, it looks complete to me. There should be a writeup on Shotimes on the install...

It is missing the screw and plate-thingy that screws onto the shift shaft connector to hold it onto the shift shaft on the tranny...

On a side note that bracket is not a part of it from what I have seen, but it could be. shrug

The rusty perforated bracket in the reply photo is NOT part of the Ford installation and is apparently a half-hearted attempt to strengthen the stabilizer mounting boss.

Since the shifer handle end is not shown, we can only inform you of the transaxle end of the parts inventory. The M6 bolt with trapped, wraparound fitting and the matching loose fitting and 10mm nut are missing. See the image below to find the parts to which I am referring. You should be able to rig up an appropriate clamping device to secure the end to the transaxle stub. The bolt should have a smooth shaft to handle the torque loads at the joint.

Is this clamp the same as on the cable shifter or is it too small? It looks the same but am not 100% sure.

Did you get both of the brackets and the rubber boot that hold the shifter to the floor of the car under the console?

If you don't have them, good luck finding some.

Those 2 brackets are a must. I would go back to the car that you got the shifter from asap. You sure don't want them to get junked.

Later,
Mike

It was still bolted to the car (except no motor or trans) and was wired to the PS. I got everything from the other end including the two brackets and rubber box. I was just worried that the engine end was missing something.

I hope the cable clamp works!
