Hi, I am changing lots of parts in my car suspension,but I can't find the part# for the strut rod bushings, already bought the rear bushings, unavailable to find the fronts, does any one knows where to look for those? Thanks for any help. :confused:

There are no front strut rods on the Gen III/IV Tauruses. They use an a-arm. Last I recall, the a-arm bushings are not available separately and require replacing the entire a-arm.

Hi, I am talking about the rear strut rod, it has bushings attached to the frame ( wich I refered as front bushings) and the bushings that goes to the rear spindle ( I refered as rear bushings,part #k8649 from moog) Thanks for the repli :) es.

I believe Mr. Nimz (SHOZ123) was looking for those a few months ago and could only get them from a dealer. Perhaps he'll chime in here...

I ordered them from Rock Auto. You need four.

MOOG or DANA/SPICER K8649 $ 7.29 ea.

So we can use that same bushings front and rear of the strut rod, even when the bushings on the front seem to be bigger than the ones on the rear?
If so I already have all I need just need a confirmation SHOZ123. :thumb:

Well after being able to remove the tension strut from the frame I discovered that the bushings that I bougth previously don't fit on the front (K8649), so I did a little reseach and find the right part # for strut rod bushings to frame. moog part # K8675. Can be ordered from rockauto(26.79) or carquest(37.47)
Hope this help some body in the future' :thumb:
