questions ot auto trans....

will a taurus trans fit the gen 2 auto???? is anything different on the inside if it does????? or do i NEED a sho auto trans ???

93, 94, 95 have different trans. designs. I think somewhere around 94 1/2 was the changeover from the AX4S to the AX4N; not sure on that one though. The 93's were a variation of the AXOD-E, I believe. Get comfirmation on this first, before rushing right out to get one!

FYI, I just got an estimate on a reman from the dealer: $1706 is list price from Ford.
