Those were hard to come by a long time ago. Go to shosource.com and send them an email. Someone used to sell a manual adjustment to replace these and they might be the place. Otherwise you can source a used one. I am looking for a part number but that is harder to find than I thought.

Have tried all. Even went on Craigslist and looked at all states with auto parts or cars for sale. The only thing I found was a 91 sho on boost for 900. If I was still working I would get it but the corona has me out of business considering in a chef. Thanks for all the help guys. Lmk if you got it irish. Thanks and b safe

That sucks. Did you email them or just look on the website? The guys at shosource have a good track record of tracking down things SHO related for people that are off the menu so to speak even if it's used.

Dan- SV&HOdan on this board - sells used stuff from parts cars and at good prices. It will be from an old car obviously, and he is in Pittsburgh, so salt environment may apply. Is yours broken or seized? Is it possible to clean and lubricate it?

There was talk of trying ones from other ford vehicles. I think I've seen some from Thunderbirds in addition to the logical mustangs with manual transmissions. I wonder if the t-bird ones would work? or maybe the contour with manual trans?

Anyone have these two pieces for sale or the whole assembly?
I had an issue with my automatic adjuster last fall. Quadrant and Pawl Teeth had rounded off and would let go of the tension during use. After trying to save money by putting a stronger spring in to hold things and playing around for about a month with different solutions I was at a loss. I wanted to keep the original setup so I gave up and put in a new clutch cable and automatic adjustment mechanism (a new quadrant, pawl, and spring) from SHOsource and although it was by no means cheap (175 just for the tension mechanism) I couldn't be happier with the results. I'm assuming a-lot of the issues people have with the tension mechanism are because previous owners did not know the correct procedure to replace the clutch cable (MUST prop pedal in position) and stripped the teeth on the quadrant and pawl accidentally. Anyway my main point is If you get the opportunity to buy the quadrant and pawl assembly i would pull the trigger although they are damn expensive. Wish i could help out more. It is a PITA to find these parts I was blessed to grab one of the last kits on shosource.

New Crank position sensors are all long gone but some used ones are floating around that people have saved.
One day there hopefully will be a replacement available... ??
